SONG FOR HIRE
SINGER- SONGWRITER - GUITARIST
Performing acoustic music for over forty years on the 6, 7 and 12-string guitars, Eric occasionally adds blues harmonica to supplement vocals. Not normally a gentle ballad singer, Eric offers a dynamic presentation.
Having written over 60 songs, performances include a mixture of originals, blues, covers and some traditional classics.Recent original audience favorites are "Is it Muggy on the Rim?", "Blonde Coyote", "Wind in the Wood" (written for the Arizona Flute Circle), "It's a Train Thing (dedicated to the Verde Valley Railroad), and "Under a Coyote Moon" (written for the State of Arizona).
Over 40 years at the keyboard entertaining at restaurants, private parties, weddings, receptions, and group gatherings where uniquely and tastefully styled piano music adds to the ambiance.
Eric is equally at home on a grand or upright piano at the location or on his personal full-size Korg keyboard with or without amplification. Original works and blues, with or or without vocals, can be included upon request.
ENTERTAINING SENIORS“Mature Music for Mature People” is my driving principle when entertaining at senior living facilities. I perform on the piano, guitar or both with vocals and present music from the last millennium. From “Autumn Leaves” on the piano to the Everly Brothers’ “Bye Bye Love” on the guitar, I present songs familiar to the audience members. I encourage singing along and am always well received by my audiences.
Some of the places where I entertain are retirement communities, senior centers, assisted living residences, and memory care facilities. I intersperse my songs with stories about the songs and keep the pace moving. As a member of Audrey’s Angels I also perform at small group assisted living residences where the audience can be 3 to 10 people plus relatives visiting the residents. Senior audiences also enjoy my harmonica with guitar and use of the Native American Flute.
